// CHALLENGES SOLVED

Some of our most representative cases
And there are many more

In nearly every project, from major international corporations to small nonprofits, we've found a way to optimize, simplify, or create what was missing. We didn't always need to invent something new: often we just needed to know what to do and do it well.

  1. Harman International

    profit

    Context

A BMW automotive project at Harman's Straubing facility needed to approve a costly, inflexible solution for combining industrial cards, signal instrumentation, and a climate chamber in a single reproducible, independent, stable environment.

    Solution

Industrial rack with Debian GNU/Linux cards, integrated workstation, signal-specific components, and multiple climate chamber interfaces for hardware testing. Later virtualized to create a scaled-down version more portable across sites.

    Result

The prototype passed production tests, was replicated across multiple group plants and later extended to other leading automotive brands.

  2. Istituto Rudy Lanza

    profit

    Context

A traveling school across regional capitals with a single costly-to-maintain website and no additional digital channels to generate revenue or manage student enrollment.

    Solution

eCommerce platform, eLearning platform, dedicated forum for members and students, optimization of management processes, SEO across the entire digital ecosystem.

    Result

New revenue streams from additional platforms, reduced operational costs, and streamlined operational procedures.

  3. Degrémont SUEZ

    profit

    Context

Water quality analysis data from Milan's Acquedotto needed to be communicated to citizens in real-time, with absolute accuracy and full protection against potential tampering.

    Solution

Secure interface for automatically retrieving data from analysis systems and a public page on the official website updated transparently and verifiably.

    Result

A perfectly functioning system with zero maintenance requirements.

  4. Legambiente

    nonprofit

Three simultaneous innovations, all without ready-made solutions on the market.

    Car Sharing Milano

Participation in the founding of car sharing in Italy, before the concept was even consolidated. Development of the public website, co-design of the member user management system, communication with active vehicles and trip history. The service was later transferred to ATM, Milan's public transportation company.

    Dynamic CMS

WordPress didn't exist. PHP had just been released. Legambiente's website needed to be independently updatable by multiple editors, with separate areas for journalists, projects, and thematic sections. Everything built from scratch - managers could finally publish content without depending on a technician or specialized skills.

    Thin clients with Free Software

Old, low-cost PCs transformed into fully operational workstations through a Linux client/server system. Well before virtualization became available. Significant hardware savings, zero compromises on functionality. Minimal budget.

  5. Terre des Hommes

    nonprofit

    Context

Unstable network, no dedicated server, no firewall, manual procedures for tasks that could be automated. Budget below minimum requirements.

    Solution

Network reconstruction, installation of a Linux server and BSD firewall, optimization and development of most of the management system with automations for repetitive and complex tasks previously performed manually.

    Result

Communication stability, firewall security, concrete time savings, and reduced operational costs.

  6. ACRA

    nonprofit

    Context

An international cooperation organization with operators distributed worldwide who needed to collaborate and work remotely in a secure and coordinated manner.

    Solution

Extension of existing infrastructure with additional servers for missing services: expanded client/server system for remote work, website with donation management and publication of international reports.

    Result

All services operational, smooth collaboration among globally distributed teams. No commercial licenses purchased.
